FAQ

How is the average entry price calculated?

Each purchase price is multiplied by its quantity. The calculator adds those costs and divides by the total quantity.

Why does a larger purchase affect the average more?

The average is weighted by quantity. A purchase of more units contributes more of the total cost and total quantity.

Are fees or sales included?

No. The calculation uses only purchase prices and quantities for one asset in one currency. It does not subtract sales or add fees.
