FundingPips in a nutshell

FundingPips offers five simulated-account models, with one-step, two-step and instant access. Fees start at $29 for $5,000. Targets, loss limits and reward conditions differ by model.
What we like
  • One-step, two-step and instant-account models
  • MT5, cTrader and Match-Trader
  • No evaluation time limit
What to watch out for
  • Master weekend positions on four models are automatically closed at the Friday market close under a temporary rule
  • Zero has a 15% consistency ceiling and a 3% safety cushion for rewards
  • Copy trading and automated strategies have restrictions

The evaluation models differ in targets, daily and maximum loss limits, and minimum trading days. Zero skips the evaluation phase and pairs a 95% reward split with a trailing loss limit and additional reward conditions.

Choose the model and reward cycle together: a higher split can carry consistency and profitable-day requirements. Check the news, weekend and automated-trading rules for that account before placing trades.

What are the FundingPips challenge rules?

1 Step Flex: 12% profit target, 3% daily loss limit, 12% maximum loss. 2 Step Standard: 8% and 5% profit targets, 5% daily loss limit, 10% maximum loss. 2 Step Flex: 10% and 6% profit targets, 4% daily loss limit, 12% maximum loss. 2 Step Pro: 6% and 6% profit targets, 3% daily loss limit, 6% maximum loss. Zero: no profit target, 3% daily loss limit, 5% trailing maximum loss.

Since 29 January 2026 a temporary FundingPips rule closes open positions on Master accounts of the 1 Step Flex, 2 Step Standard, 2 Step Flex and 2 Step Pro models automatically at the Friday market close.

Daily loss is calculated from the higher of opening balance and equity; 1 Step Flex resets at 00:00 UTC+3. The maximum loss limits are static for the four evaluation models.

Standard evaluation accounts may hold and manage trades through news, but purposeful news trading is prohibited. Master accounts use soft-breach restrictions five minutes around high-impact news and 10 minutes around speeches, with a five-hour pre-event exception. Zero treats restricted news trading as a hard rule; Prime allows news trading.

Evaluation accounts may hold through weekends but may not open or close trades on weekends. The temporary Master closure rule is not a hard breach and does not create a valid trading day. Zero weekend holding is a hard breach. Overnight holding is not generally prohibited; rollover and swaps follow the published timing rules.

Third-party EAs may only manage trades or risk; fully automated third-party EAs are prohibited. An own fully automated EA requires evidence such as source code, version history and developer records. The 1K Instant Account has an exception for third-party EAs and trade copiers; monthly competition accounts prohibit all EAs.

Copying between accounts owned by the same person is allowed. Copying between different users, inbound external signals or copiers, coordinated Master trading and third-party account management are prohibited.

Prohibited strategies include hedging, long-short or reverse arbitrage, gap trading, high-frequency or server-spam activity, latency or toxic-flow exploitation, tick scalping, server-execution exploitation, opposite-account trading and churning or burning.

On newer evaluations of $25,000 or more, one trade idea exceeding 60% of the phase target can trigger a requirement for four profitable Master days before a reward. Monthly 100% cycles require 35% consistency and seven profitable days; Zero has a 15% consistency ceiling.

How much does a FundingPips challenge cost?

FundingPips offers five trading models: 1 Step Flex, 2 Step Standard, 2 Step Flex, 2 Step Pro and Zero.

Challenge fees start from $29 for a $5,000 account.

1 Step Flex fees: $66 ($5,000), $99 ($10,000), $211 ($25,000), $313 ($50,000), $533 ($100,000).

2 Step Standard fees: $36 ($5,000), $66 ($10,000), $177 ($25,000), $299 ($50,000), $522 ($100,000).

2 Step Flex fees with the 85% reward split: $32 ($5,000), $59 ($10,000), $159 ($25,000), $269 ($50,000), $499 ($100,000).

2 Step Pro fees: $29 ($5,000), $55 ($10,000), $134 ($25,000), $224 ($50,000), $422 ($100,000), $844 ($200,000).

Zero fees: $60 ($5,000), $88 ($10,000), $188 ($25,000), $244 ($50,000), $444 ($100,000), $888 ($200,000).

1 Step Flex has one evaluation phase, no minimum trading days and an 85% bi-weekly reward split. The first reward is available 14 calendar days after the first Master trade.

2 Step Standard has two evaluation phases and three trading days in each phase. Its On Demand option pays a 90% split after 2% Master profit and 35% consistency. Weekly rewards pay 60% after seven days, bi-weekly rewards pay 80% after 14 days, and eligible monthly rewards pay 100% after 30 days and the required conditions. The fees are the same for the weekly and On Demand options.

2 Step Flex has two phases. The default 85% path requires one trading day per phase; the 95% path requires three profitable days per phase. Bi-weekly rewards start 14 days after the first Master trade; the 95% path also requires three profitable days.

2 Step Pro has two phases, with two trading days per phase for new or reset accounts from 26 August 2026; older accounts retain the one-day rule. Its weekly reward split is 80%, with the first reward seven calendar days after the first Master trade.

Zero opens directly as a Master account, with no evaluation target. It pays 95% bi-weekly, starting 14 days after the first Master trade, subject to a 15% consistency ceiling, seven profitable days, a 3% safety cushion and the loss/win condition. Each of the seven profitable days in a rolling 30-day period must earn at least 0.25%. Its 5% trailing maximum loss locks at breakeven after 5% profit.

All five models have no evaluation expiry, but inactivity for 30 consecutive days applies. Standard FX leverage is 1:100, metals 1:30, energies 1:10, indices 1:20 and crypto 1:2. Zero uses FX 1:50, metals, energies and indices 1:10, and crypto 1:2.

Monthly 100% reward cycles apply to eligible evaluations purchased on or after 15 August 2026 and require 35% consistency and seven profitable days. The 2 Step Standard registration fee is refunded with the fourth reward; the other four models do not offer that fourth-reward refund.

Prime accounts open by invitation or after the third reward, pay rewards daily at an 80% split and scale up to $2 million.

Prime trading opens after KYC and the Prime Account Agreement. A ×12.5 multiplier applies to the amount moved at unlock, and the Master account closes when Prime opens. Prime publishes a soft daily loss limit of 2%, an 8% trailing maximum loss, leverage up to 1:2000, and a minimum reward of 1% of Prime size including the split. The first four scale-ups add 10% size after 5% profit per step; the fourth also requires four profitable days of at least 1%. From the fifth scale-up, 10% profit and 10 profitable days of at least 1% are required. News trading and weekend holding are allowed.

The free MT5 trial mirrors 2 Step Standard or 2 Step Pro, lasts 14 calendar days per phase and allows one trial at a time. It carries no profit entitlement or route to Master. The free monthly Match-Trader competition uses a $100,000 simulated account for one month, allows one account, has a 10% maximum overall loss and prohibits all EAs.
